JKO INTERIORS
Tulsa interior designer Julie O’Connor has more than nineteen years of experience creating interiors for residential clients and hospitality projects.
Julie has experience with Tulsa’s historical building renovations, such as the Edward Delk Restaurant in the Philtower Building and several historic homes. She has been included in Tulsa’s Designer Showcase for three years, designing a variety of rooms for homes in Tulsa including a few in the Maple Ridge neighborhood.
Julie earned a degree in Interior Design at OSU in 2002. She is a member of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification as well as a member of ASID and the International Interior Design Association.
In serving her residential clients, Julie says “I use the homes exterior aesthetics and reference them on interior elements while trying to keep the style clean and classic, whether the home is modern or traditional. If the client is interested in trends, I will do trendy things on things that can easily be changed out, such as pillows, artwork, and bedding.” Julie enjoys space planning, product selection including custom cabinetry, custom furniture and lighting.
When Oklahoma’s Title Act was initiated in 2010, Julie became a registered Interior Designer. She is also an active professional-level member and supporter of the Oklahoma Interior Design Coalition.
Julie said she likes being part of Urban Art Lab Studio. “Every day when I come to the office I’m inspired.”
